I was trying to write a brief summary of what I did in my study abroad this summer. Here’s what I came up with:
This summer I went on a whirl-wind adventure to the wonderful and mysterious country of Greece. From Athens, to Crete, and the most beautiful island in the world Santorini, I ate, lived, and had adventures for five weeks. This included hiking the biggest gorge in Europe, bungee-jumping in the Corinth Canal, riding donkeys up a mountain, swimming in hot springs, cliff jumping into the Mediterranean Ocean, climbing up an active volcano, mountain biking through a scenic plateau, parasailing over the ocean, rock climbing by the bay, and watching the most beautiful sunsets in the world. And I got class credit for it too.
The incredible thing is that the action involved in that summary doesn’t even describe the inner-action that happened within me. The conversation, the friends, the lessons I learned and the person I became are beyond describable
God, I miss Greece. I miss Global LEAD
